Asia, Middle East and North America which greatly depend on the internet for their business suffered a huge halt in their business when Internet connections was cut down to fifty (50) percent of its normal bandwidth distribution.Not only that but televisions and phone services experience a major disruption in their services.
Major undersea cable failure was the reason for this problem. Egypt, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Bahrain are also experiencing severe problems.
India feared also that this could create utter chaos and could could affect the country’s two major exchanges, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) in Delhi and the SENSEX exchange in Bombay.
No reports as to what is the reason for the said cable failure and the repair of this incident could go for two weeks.
