Search Engine Marketing has been doing its purpose for quite a long time, and is been describe by the many as a form of Internet Marketing that promotes websites. SEM uses method like Pay-per-click which is where advertisers only pay when a user actually clicks on an ad to visit the advertiser’s website. Other Methods are Paid inclusion in which Search Engines charges websites that are included in their company and SEO which is Search Engine Optimization, is a method in which it increases the volume rate or visitor going to a website using high targeted keywords.
SEM is a way to advertise your services and products using different search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc. This form of internet marketing is done by using typing a keyword with in the search engines and as a result of this process different forms of website links are displayed. SERPs (Search Engine Result Pages) shows different websites according to their rankings, the higher the rank of a website the much better position and the chances of getting hits in the searched engines.
SEM is usually made progressive by two methods the SEO and Pay-Per-Click in which in Search Engine Optimization, websites need quality content to have a better quality score to increase its ranking position while in PPC, you pay for the keywords you used so that users or visitors get directed to your site.
This kind of methods are not easy to come by and needs a lot of training, research and a trial and error method.
